   Blackdog is a St. Charles, Missouri based Rock, Blues and Jazz freight train of sound that has inspired audiences for 20 years in the Midwest United States live and on the radio with five albums circulating in 23 countries worldwide. Treat yourself to a show that takes you beyond the ordinary. A mix of popular covers and some off the beaten path, we work to surprise folks with a show that goes beyond the basic bar fare. Our newest CD released November 2006 "We jam more like we do now, than we ever have before" includes great songs from  Peter Frampton, Deep Purple, Trapeze, Little Feat, Double Trouble, Robin Trower, Moody Blues, Eddie Money, Tommy Bolin, Clapton, Wings, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Starship, ARS, Allman Bros, Mama’s Pride and more.

Text Box: BLACKDOG 2008 BLANCHETTE BBQ is going to be a bit different this year. The band will play Saturday Evening JULY 19 in Bums Hollow right across the street from our regular pavilion in the park. MID LIFE CRISIS will open the show on a nice big stage with lights and great sound. This is St. Charles City sponsored concert and both bands will rock the hollow! There will be snack foods for sale. Bring your park gear, chairs and all. Because of scheduling, the BBQ will return next summer as usual. We are fortunate to have this chance to play for the city, please come out and support this show, and perhaps there will be more in the future. Thanks again to Chris and the Arbogast band who will play October 4 in the hollow. Check them out.
